Principal's Message

 

Dear Nashport Students and Families,

Welcome to a new school year! We are excited to open our doors and begin another year of learning and fun together. 

Whether you are returning to Nashport or joining us for the first time, we are so glad you are here. Each new school year brings fresh opportunities to make new friends, discover new interests, build confidence, and achieve great things. Nashport staff has been busy preparing classrooms and planning engaging learning experiences to make this a successful and enjoyable year for every student.

Families are an essential part of our school community, and we appreciate your partnership. Your encouragement, support, and involvement help create the best possible learning environment for our students. We look forward to working together throughout the year to celebrate successes and support every child's growth.

As we prepare to welcome our students back for the 2026-2027 school year, we are continuously looking for ways to enhance our school environments. With that in mind, we are implementing a new security measure starting on the first day of school.

 

New Building Access Policy:

To ensure the highest level of security, any visitor wishing to gain access to our school

buildings during regular school hours will be required to show a valid photo ID.

Please note the specific hours for this requirement based on your student's campus:

• Elementary Campuses: 9:15 AM – 3:30 PM

This policy is being implemented with an overabundance of caution to keep

our students, staff, and visitors safe at all times. Keeping our school secure is a shared responsibility, and safety remains our number one priority. We deeply appreciate your cooperation, patience, and partnership as we adapt to this new routine to keep our Scotties safe.
